SEND TEACHER (PART-TIME)

Job Title: SEND Teacher
Area: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Start Date: Monday 20th April 2026
Contract Type: Part‑time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Working Hours: 2-3 days per week, 8:30am – 3:30pm

About the School/Provision:

Are you a dedicated and adaptable SEND practitioner with a passion for supporting pupils with diverse and complex needs? This is an excellent opportunity to join a nurturing and progressive provision supporting children and young people with a range of SEND profiles, including autism, social communication differences, and sensory or physical needs.

About the Role:

Deliver high‑quality, personalised teaching across KS2-KS4
Plan, adapt, and differentiate lessons to meet individual EHCP targets
Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, therapists, and parents/carers
Contribute to a positive, safe, and structured learning environment
Use creative and engaging strategies to support a wide range of learning needsWhat We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Previous experience within an SEN environment-or strong SEN experience in a mainstream setting
A calm, patient, and resilient approach to classroom management
Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to supporting holistic development
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamTo Be Eligible You Must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child‑barred list DBS certificate registered to the online update service, or be willing to apply for a new one
