WBL Electrical Installation Assessor
£27,164 – £30,613 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Full time, Permanent (37 hours per week)

I am currently working with a college in the area who are looking to recruit a WBL Electrical Installation Assessor to start with them as soon as possible. The role will be full time, permanent, at 37 working hours per week.
Overview of Role
As an Assessor you will work with a caseload of 35 learners travelling site to site, assessing students’ work, and liaise with awarding organisations and exam invigilation as required. You will also provide educational guidance, support and counselling for all students whilst participating in the marketing, planning, assessment and evaluation of course provision.
You will also liaise with other assessors from other construction areas with regard to resources, curriculum development, student reports and other related matters, whilst completing and producing the agreed deadlines documentation such as; registers, schemes of work, records of work, course review, course analysis documentation, student reports and absence reports.
With an awareness of the importance of quality standards within assessing, you will have knowledge of a broad range of learning needs and how to support these needs within a learning environment and demonstrate and understanding of current developments within your own specialist area. You should be open and responsive to the needs of others and be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and new ideas.
* Vocational Level 3 qualification
* Assessors awards A1 or D32, D33 with A1 update training
* Develop and use a range of learning and teaching techniques and prepare effective written and visual teaching materials
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong team player, displaying energy and enthusiasm in the learning environment
* Proficient in MS Office and ideally in Google applications and using the internet and intranet
