What the day to day could look like?
Leading the team to ensure optimum day to day operational performance to required standards.
Manage and issue Permit to work, Management of Change and Isolations for the BDR Plan
Set the standards for team performance ensuring all sampling and testing is done to schedule, as a minimum, and additional testing as required
Ensure departmental housekeeping is of a high standard.
Ensure all work undertaken is done so in accordance with company policy and in a safe manner.
Make clear and prompt decisions considering all risks to process and people.
Takes initiative and act with confidence under own direction.
Ensure a detailed and precise shift handover to oncoming teams.
Provide leadership and clear direction to shift teams at all times.
Actively promote a team-working environment and always lead by example.
Ensure all staff and visitors operates in compliance with Safety regulations
Full responsibility for the safety of team members
Are you who we are looking for?
Previous experience working in a process plant
Previous experience working in a FMCG, process or chemical background
Previous supervisory experience with knowledge of shift working and operations
A strong knowledge of current legislation and compliance, for example, IPCC, EA, HSE
Able to project manage
Able to carry out best practice experience
Has experience in implementing continuous improvement
Able to work under pressure while being able to motivate and actively promote a team-working environment
Have a solution driven attitude
