Nursery Teaching Assistant

A great opportunity for a newly qualified or more experienced Teaching Assistant to build on their training and prior experiences in this temporary role.

The Role

This will be a full-time Teaching Assistant position supporting across KS1&2 as part of a supportive and dynamic team. Although the successful candidate will be predominantly working with a specific group. flexibility will be required for potentially moving between classes and assisting different children.

The School

This is a welcoming school in Birkenhead. They were inspected by Ofsted prior to COVID-19 and were graded as 'Good'. They were given particularly high praise on their promotion of inclusion and desire to continuously improve across the board.


To be considered for this nursery Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Hold a level two or three teaching assistant qualification
Have experience supporting iacross KS1 and 2
Have the ability to inspire and motivate
Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
Have experience working in mainstream British Schools and be able to demonstrate teaching excellence.
