6 month contract (initially)

Fareham, Hampshire

Shift patterns: 7.00-14.30 / 14.30-22.00 + Sleep / 10.00-20.00 / WN 22.00-07.00

Rates of pay: £9.00-£9.50 (+ holiday pay) per hour PAYE / £11.31 per hour Umbrella

I am seeking experienced Support Workers to join my Hampshire workforce to support my client in their Supportive Living Unit in Fareham, Hampshire.

This is working within a supportive Living service providing 1:1 Care for a Male with Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviours including intervention. Training (including SCIP intervention training) provided.

There are 4 x full time 37.5 hour vacancies available for a minimum of 6 months and lots of flexibility on hours therefore part time and full time applicants welcomed

To be considered we require the following:

Health and Social Care Qualification – desirable however not essential
Enhanced DBS on the update service – desirable however a new application can be made
Previous experience working within a care setting supporting vulnerable individuals including Challenging Behaviours and Learning Disabilities
Experience within any of the following areas: Medication administration, Dementia Care, Moving and Positing and Personal Care
Up-to-date mandatory training – desirable however we can assist with industry training
Knowledge of current relevant legislation relating to care standards, health and safety and food hygieneBenefits for you working as an Agency Carer:
