Supply Chain Project Lead

Bristol

Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs.

Supply Chain Project Lead required for an established and niche manufacturer who are true specialists in their industry. The company are experiencing ongoing growth and success within their markets. They offer a fast paced and varied role for a candidate who is seeking a challenging improvements based projects role.

The Supply Chain Project Lead role will be suited to those within proven projects experience within Supply Chain teams and a focus on process improvements. Six Sigma experience with Green/Black belt and Prince 2/APM or equivalent highly desired, although experience is key.

The Core objective of the Supply Chain Project Lead will be to take responsibility for the management of supply chain projects with the mission of generating and identifying areas for improvement to the process with the effective application of continuous improvement methodologies and project management skills.

The role in Brief:

* Make proposals of continuous improvement projects to the supply chain manager.

* Ensure all supply chain projects meet performance and timescale objectives as defined by Supply Chain strategy.

* Create Cross functional project plans covering all tasks required aligned to cost saving initiatives.

* Ensure all required resource and skills are made available to deliver the project

* Manage project teams to all objectives

* Present project progress to Supply Chain manager and stakeholders at set milestones

* A fully exhaustive role description can be made available on application

The Person Required:

* CIPS level 4 or equivalent ideal, although experience is key

* Proven project management experience

* Continuous improvements focus and expertise

* Six Sigma and Project management certifications highly desired. i.e. Prince2 / APM
