Our well established clients, based in Southampton have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Person to join their growing team.
To ensure all purchased items are stored correctly and distributed appropriately.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
* Ability to organise and locate stock.
* Able to liaise with other departments and suppliers regarding stock levels.
* Maintain a professional manner at all time.
* Accurate/timely booking system.
* Have good attention to quality.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to use ladders safely, work on uneven levels and in confined spaces etc.
* To be hard working, truthful and conscientious at all times.
* To be a valued member of the purchasing team and undertake any other duties that may assist the department
Skills and Abilities
* Good IT skills
* Have excellent people skills
* Good manual handling skills/aware of safe lifting and working procedures
