STEM Graduate Teaching Assistants required
West London
£80-90 per day

At Veritas we work with a number of primary, secondary and SEN schools in London. We work with mainstream schools and private/independent schools. We are currently looking for STEM Graduates: Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths for Teaching Assistant roles available at a prestigious secondary school based in West London to begin ASAP. We are looking for graduates to work with gifted and talented students.

As a teaching assistant you will be:

dedicated to helping students achieve their attainment levels
you will encourage students to engage proactively with their learning
you will be responsible in helping to provide a safe environment for students to learn.
You will assist the teacher in areas also including behaviour management, consistently promoting positive behaviour, and in assisting with their general learning and development.
Have good presentation and demonstrate good articulation skillsIdeally you will already have some experience of working with young people, or you may be considering furthering your career in education as a teacher. As well as having a degree it is desirable for you to have Maths, English and Science GCSEs grades A-C.

You will need to have a DBS on the update service – if you do not have one you will need to apply for one which you can do so through Veritas.
