Salary – £37,106.18 plus Veolia benefits

Hours – 48 per week

4 on 4 off. 12hr shift.

Working two days followed by 2 nights.

Will be required to cover shifts / the team as and when needed – this will be paid as overtime.

What will you be doing?

Assisting in emergency planning, emergency exercise drills and environmental exercise drills
Emergency response – Role of Incident Controller during normal working hours and Site Main Controller out of normal working hours
Plant start up/ shutdown including column washes, monitoring scada systems to check column pressure,steam pressure, flow rates and solvent temperatures and effectively operating the plant based on scada data versus SOP
Operating and inspection of cooling tower, boiler, nitrogen and air compressor systems
Lead and coach the shift staff to develop good working relationships and a high performing team
Assist the day operations team leader outside of normal working hours to aid loading/ unloading tankers, blends and bulking plan when needed

What are we looking for?

Knowledge of SCADA systems
Knowledge of HMI systems
Safety qualification IOSH/ NEBOSH
Level 3 Diploma in Process Technology
NVQ Level 3 in Plant Process
