Senior Land Manager – £80,000 + Healthcare + Annual Bonus + Pension + Car Allowance

We are currently working with a very successful housebuilder operating in Hampshire who are looking for a Senior Land Manager to lead in new acquisitions across Hampshire and the surrounding region.

Responsibilities will include:

The function of a Senior Land Manager is to identify and secure new land sites for developments and produce bids for land acquisition.

This job specifically will be a mobile one, with time split between home working, office working, and site visits to help assess suitability for new potential sites for purchase. The job is a results-based and will be measured on the quantity and quality of land purchased.

Additionally, you will:

* Search for potential sites through networking with Land agents.

* Ensure the future of land supply by purchasing new land, reflecting the company’s profitability requirements.

* Take input from sales and commercial teams to forecast and evaluate potential site suitability.

* Produce and present appraisals to secure the best deal, while negotiating the required documentation in land acquisition.

* Present identified issues to the Land Director to prevent complications in current or future endeavours.

Candidates should have:

* Worked with a housing developer or housing association previously.

* Experience as a Land Manager, Senior Land Manager, or Land Agent.

* Knowledge in land acquisition legislation.

* Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.

* The ability to work well under pressure.

* IT proficiency in Microsoft Office.

This is an excellent role with a successful housebuilding business that would suit someone with a background as a Land Manager or similar and is looking to broaden their horizons by working on some of the country’s most prestigious housing developments.
