We are recruiting for our client who are have been delivering inspiring music lessons for over a decade, sending passionate musicians into schools to teach primary school children how to perform music in a band.

Do you enjoy working within sales, enjoy talking with customers and build relationships? This Sales Executive (Education Industry) role combines all 3: where you will be talking with with schools, work closely within a large sales & development team and support the growth of the business. All with the purpose of creating amazing experiences for the kids we teach.

If you have a passion for music this role can combine that work your career, as you will be talking with the education sector to pitch music lessons.

To be successful as the Sales Executive (Education Industry) you will have previous experience of working in a cold calling environment, if this is in a B2B environment that would advantageous! You will also ideally previously worked as a Telemarketing Executive or an Inside Sales Executive.

The Role

Working as one of our 'School Champions' in Liphook
Responsible for your own lead generation by cold-calling and emailing key decision makers in schools once you have identified them.
Engage in high quality conversations with decision makers and confidently articulating the benefits of our music lessons
Accountable for the sales campaigns provided including pipeline and conversions figures
Cultivating a working relationship with the field sales team
Responsible for scheduling appointments for the field sales team where required
Maintain ongoing relationships with senior stakeholders at schools across the UK

Skills and Experience

Minimum of 2 years cold calling experience in a B2B environment, ideally as a Telemarketing Executive or an Inside Sales Executive.
Experience with consultative sales methodologies is preferred but not essential
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of empathy and listening skills alongside an exceptional ability to influence.
Ambitious and driven, but a team player that always demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic approach to work
Approachable and personable with a deep sense of integrity
Persistent and resilient
Passionate about music and its benefits.
High organised and target driven with a proven track record of successfully working with KPI's

A full-time salary position working daytimes during the week with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
