Our client, a housing group based in Birmingham are looking for a Responsive Surveyor to join their team. This is on a permanent basis.

Salary – £39,621 plus additional benefits.

The purpose of the role is to:

Provide operational and technical support in the delivery of responsive repairs executed by the in-house maintenance team and or support contractors.
Planning, organising and undertaking pre and post inspections and the preparation of schedules of works using relevant NHF Schedule of Rates relating to responsive and voids works.
Oversee disrepair cases and diagnosing building defects, as well the ability to complete forensic diagnosis of building related defects and write the appropriate reports.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

A HNC/HND or equivalent experience in a building/construction related practice.
Previous experience working in a similar role such as Building Surveyor or Repairs Surveyor in a responsive environment.
Previous Housing experience is required.Additional Benefits include:
