As the Registered Manager of our new single occupancy home, you'll be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations, including managing staff, managing budgets, and ensuring that the quality of the service provided is of the highest quality and that Priority meets all regulatory requirements.
A day in the life of a Registered Manager with Priority Childcare Involves:
* Ensuring a home environment that puts the wellbeing and quality of life of the individual we support at the heart of everything you do, through embracing a person-centred planning approach and championing other new approaches as appropriate;
* Having an up-to-date Home Improvement Plan is in place and that actions are driven in line with this;
* Overseeing and ensuring a robust rota management is in place to ensure the right resource is in the right place at the right time;
* Building positive working relationship with Inspectors, ensuring good communication at all times.
* Ensuring that your Regional Manager and other key internal stakeholders are made aware of any issue that could adversely impact on the organization, escalating accordingly;
* Ensuring Priority meets all regulatory requirements (e.g. General Data Protection Regulations; Social Care Wales; CIW; Employment Legislation; Health & Safety, etc).
To be a successful Registered Manager with Priority Childcare, you’ll need:
* QCF Level 5 Health and Social Care -children’s;
* Safeguarding Processes;
* Strong, successful proven track record within a managerial role in a similar environment in terms of size and complexity;
* Solid knowledge of organisational compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice;
* An inspiring leader, who has experience of building and developing a high performing team;
* The ability to successfully challenge and influence within complex situations;
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally;
* Is comfortable with data and utilizes it effectively to evaluate performance and inform decision making;
* A proven track record in managing complex projects from start to finish.
