A successful main building contractor is looking to recruit a Quality Manager to support their senior leadership team. As Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high levels of customer service to their client base.

The role involves directing, inspecting and reporting on all aspects of quality management as they pertain to projects starting from pre-tender through to completion and handover.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Taking early involvement in project development, ensuring effective quality plans are integrated with the overall programme.
Review and advise on designs and technical specifications from a quality perspective.
Carrying out site inspections and audits, working collaboratively with site teams to ensure a continued focus on quality standards.
Maintaining records and producing quality standards reports for the senior management team.
Identifying examples of best practice and contributing to a positive culture of learning and improvement throughout the business.

The role will involve visiting sites throughout the UK, so applicants should be comfortable with regular travel/overnight stays.

As Quality Manager, you should be a highly experienced construction professional, with a trades, engineering or construction management background. You should have a passion for delivering a quality product and a keen eye for detail working across a multitude of trades and associated material.
