A national manufacturing and production company based in the Stowmarket area are looking for a Quality Control Apprentice to join their team. The successful candidate will assist the Planning Manager in the daily implementation of quality control onsite and be familiar with Factory Production Control.

Duties:
Promote the highest Health & Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Assist the Planning Manager in pre-production planning for both bespoke and standard products.
Ensure manufactured products are of an acceptable standard and within allowed tolerances.
Assist with keeping evidence to support the quality assurance is up to date, available and in line with requirements.
Help the Planning and Transport Managers with administrative tasks
Understand quality procedures to ensure that the Company is compliant with relevant BS EN standards and customer requirements.
Carry out daily, weekly and monthly inspections in line with the FPC and customer requirements, including pre and post pour checks of units.
Taking samples to carry out necessary tests in order to demonstrate product compliance.
Carry out dimensional checks on both standard and bespoke products, ensuring evidence is collated and analysed to ensure product conformity.
Ensure pre and post check sheets have been completed.
Have an understand and be aware of the Company's Quality Systems.
Adhere to Company practices and procedures
Develop sound working relationships with all personnel and departments of the Company
Be a brand ambassador, promoting a professional company and personal image.
To be considered for this exciting Quality Control Apprentice role, you will need the following experience:

Confidence working with IT programmes

A commitment to be punctual, dependable and reliable.

Benefits:

Hours of Work – 07:00 – 16:00 (40hrs per week)
Paid overtime – Normal overtime x1.25, Sundays and Bank Holidays x2; basic rate of pay
