We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant based at site in Yateley.
What will I be responsible for?
Joining our team as a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be focused primarily on the purchase ledger function of the finance team but with scope to be involved in other aspects and tasks On a daily basis, this will involve:
Creation of new suppliers within ERP & Finance systems
Processing PO related purchase invoices through ERP Systems
Manually entering and coding invoices into Finance system
Obtaining relevant authorisation for processing of invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Monitoring Accounts inbox
Support & provide cover for payment run preparation
Resolution of queries
Support processing Employee expenses
Assist in the month end process
Intercompany reconciliation supportOccasionally you may be required to perform other tasks which are not included in the above description, but are within the capabilities of the individual and where necessary training will be given.
Our ideal Purchase Ledger Assistant
At least 2+ years hands on experience in similar role
Accurate with a keen eye for detail
Professional communication skills
Aptitude for figures and analysis
Steady under pressure
Ability to meet deadlines and targets
Proactive approach with confidence to challenge and work independently whilst being part of the team ethic.
Strong computer skills, advanced level of MS Excel desirable
Knowledge of double entry and overall financial reporting awareness
