Based near Southport my client is a not for profit organisation seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary basis. This role will assist during a period of transition. This role is part time and offers flexible hours and a competitive salary.

Your new role as a Purchase Ledger Clerk:

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will join a finance tram of five in a busy, professional and friendly environment. You will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger end to end processes for two parts of the organisation.

Day to day duties:
• Accurately inputting high volumes of invoices onto Sage
• Matching, batching and coding of invoices
• Liaising with suppliers
• Reconciling statements for audit purposes
• Negotiating terms, costing and service
• Producing variance reports on a monthly basis
• Adhoc accounts processing

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:

Good communication skills are essential for this role. Ideal candidates will have AAT level 3 and both Sage and Excel experience. Proven history of working within a similar environment and role is also essential. My client is looking for someone who is highly motivated with a calm attitude that can demonstrate initiative. A team player that has a flexible approach along with an understanding of the charitable ethos.
