Project Coordinator – Commercial Construction

An exciting opportunity to join a Commerial Building Contractor. This commercial division specialises in supplying replacement UPVC Windows, doors and wall insulation (EWI) into social housing and public sector clients. The Project Co-ordinator role reporting to the Head of Operations, plays an integral part in the successful delivery and reporting of multi-year investment programmes.  A new, challenging and varied role, focussing on supporting our operational delivery teams to provide excellent service to our clients. 

The role includes:

Working closely with field operational staff to create and manage an effective client delivery plan using the companies AX project management system

Managing the sequencing, scheduling and delivery of both internal and 3rd party supplied products in line with the project plan and our client’s requirements.

Manage and report on the end to end programme of activities, from initial survey to handover of completed property back to the client.

Produce K.P.I’s and performance reporting for internal and external stakeholders

Experience required for this role:

Ideally qualified in project management (Prince 2, APM) at a foundation level

Experience gained of projects within a construction, facilitates or service-based environment.

Great customer skills

Word and excel to intermediate level

Use of project management tools (MS Project) and processes.

Self-starter with keen attention to detail and well organised.

Strong communications skills, positive can-do attitude and a team player
