The Role

This will be a full-time position teaching a Year 1 cohort of 22 children. There are a small group of low-level SEND children within the class, but behaviour across the class, and school, is outstanding. The school follows an enquiry-based, cross-curricular approach to the National Curriculum.

The school

This is a large, two-form entry school in Huyton, Knowsley. They were inspected by Ofsted prior to COVID-19 and were graded as 'Good' with outstanding areas. They were praised particularly highly in their successful, whole-school approach to managing behaviour; and the children's progress from KS1 to the end of KS2.

Requirements

To be considered for this teacher position, you will:

Hold QTS status in the UK

Have experience delivering phonics interventions

Have experience teaching in KS1

Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

Have experience working in mainstream British Schools and be able to demonstrate teaching excellence.
