Prospero Teaching are wanting to recruit a temporary teacher of PE for a secondary school close to Stockport to join their team from January until Easter. The school is a large secondary school with an excellent reputation in the local community. You will be required to teach classes across key stage 3 and key stage 4. The role will mainly be teaching key stage 3.

The role is a full time, and will be from Jaunary until Easter. It is essential that you have a valid and recognised teaching qualification & that you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching PE to secondary school aged students.

The position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers.

Minimum rate of pay – £135 per day

Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm, plus parents evenings and departmental meetings as required


QTS, QTLS or equivalent

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)

Up to date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)


Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
