PE Teacher – Southall

Are you a personable and energetic PE Teacher who is passionate about working with children and takes a positive approach towards their needs? Are you seeking a long-term placement in a vibrant and exceptional learning environment? We are currently recruiting for an SEN School in Southall as they are looking forward to having an enthusiastic PE Teacher join their talented team for the start of the new year in January.

To be considered for this position you must be a qualified teacher and ideally have previous experience in Teaching.

Offers educational support for children and young people on the autism spectrum between the ages of 4-22
OFSTED 'Outstanding' rated school located in Southall

Aim to offer children with autism the education they need to develop their self-confidence, their academic skills and their life skillsThe Role:

Be responsible for high quality autism specific education and development of a class / group of autistic children and young people.
To have the potential to develop skills in order to work with pupils with complex needs in addition to autism spectrum disorder, such as ADHD, OCD and PDA
To be responsible for planning implementing and delivering a personalised curriculum to individual children and groups that is relevant and motivating for each child.
Ensure the quality of teaching and learning meets statutory requirements
Ensure continuity across the year groups from EYS – 22 working collaboratively with FE PE partners, contributing and driving joint planning including residential outward- bound experiences.Requirements:

Must have QTS and previous Teaching Experience
Must be available from January 2023 to work as a PE Teacher
Either live in Southall or within a commutable distance
Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
