PE Cover Supervisor – Bournemouth

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic PE Cover Supervisor to join a 'Good' Ofsted rated SEMH in Bournemouth. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading PE lessons in the absence of the regular teacher; responsibilities will also include general cover and support across the school (KS1 & KS2)

As an SEMH School for Primary aged pupils, it is essential that the successful candidate has experience working with young people with special educational needs and is able to manage difficult behaviors in a positive and supportive manner.

Hours – 8:30 am – 4:30 pmKey responsibilities:

Overseeing and leading PE lessons for students in a variety of year groups
Managing the behavior of students and ensuring a positive learning environment
Providing feedback to teachers on the progress and development of students
Assisting with the preparation of materials and resources for PE lessons
Providing support to students who may need additional help or guidanceThe ideal candidate will have:

A passion for physical education and sport
Experience working with young people in a teaching or coaching capacity, particularly those with special educational needs and behavioral challenges
The ability to engage and motivate students
Strong organizational and communication skills
