The role

Energy Saving Trust are recruiting a motivated and caring outreach advisor to join our team, delivering effective and informative advice to vulnerable householders on energy efficiency across Wales.

We are looking for individuals to join our team who can work independently, whilst working towards team targets. Someone who has good IT skills, excellent telephone, and customer care skills. The ability to speak Welsh, whilst not essential, it is highly desirable.

What you’ll do

* We’d like to hear from you if you have experience working in a call centre, with a proven ability of delivering high standards of customer service and have an interest in energy saving initiatives.

* You will be required to make outbound calls to vulnerable customers who are on the priority services register and undertake home visits to customers throughout south, mid, and west Wales who are vulnerable due to reasons of health, property, or situation.

* Part of your role will also require you to meet with key partners.

* You will have the opportunity to arrange and attend events to promote the project in order to increase customer sign up to the priority service register.

* Your ability to plan and prioritise work is essential in this busy environment, along with your solid experience of providing telephone and/or face to face advice and delivering customer service to a high standard will prepare you well for this position.

* Your team player and enthusiastic attitude will ensure your success in reaching time-bound targets.

What you’ll bring

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both face to face and on the telephone.

* Self-motivated and able to work remotely, without supervision, while demonstrating strong team skills.

* Results orientation, good organisational skills including the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work.

* Valid clean full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 2 years).

This is a permanent position. Our standard weekly hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.

We are open to flexible working locations (within Cardiff/South Wales Region) and as standard we offer all contracts on blended (home and office-based) working.
