The Rec Pool are actively recruiting for a Marketing and Communications Manager on behalf of our client, a leading Managed Services organisation based in their Liverpool City Centre Head Office. The role is a full-time, permanent position and is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to create and build a marketing department within the business to service it's clients.

The role will be perfect for candidates that have the ambition, ability and confidence to advise upon and action a complete review of current marketing strategies across a range of brands

The role:

* To communicate with and market to a range of prospective customers via established and developing marketing platforms and manage end to end marketing activity

* Monitor and optimise the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and generate high level reports with key learnings, trends, ROI and metric based activity

* Making budget recommendations, ROI and reporting on performance and controlling costs whilst maintaining schedules

* Generate exciting and creative lead generation campaigns

* Plan and execute a digital strategy in line with target customers as well as brand guidelines and tone of voice

* Apply creativity and flair to content creation and communication to customers and clients

* Responsible for Marketing Coordinator and involved in hiring and management of any new Marketing staff

* Developing internal communications strategy

* Working with the IT department to consult regarding the creation of the business Intranet

* Liaising with key stakeholders to understand the business requirements

* Advising business on latest sector updates and identifying areas for improvements

Skills required:

* Minimum of 5 years marketing experience in a senior role

* Minimum 5 years lead generation/campaign management

* Marketing degree or CIM qualification desirable

* Significant experience and expertise in both online and offline marketing

* A demonstrable creative flair and enthusiasm for all things marketing

* Knowledge of web design and development

* Ability to identify customer and marketing trends in real time and in anticipation of change

* Skilled and confident in technical digital marketing abilities and up to date with relevant digital developments and strong grasp of current marketing and development tools

* CRM experience

* Brand management experience


* Salary benchmark £40,000 – £50,000

* Working in a fantastic, City Centre location with short walk from Moorfields Station
