About the role

As a Management Accounts Assistant, you will support in the preparation of the month-end result. You will do this by tracking monthly activities and collecting information required from various areas of the business.

Your role will include posting prepayments, accruals and journals whilst ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed. Another key accountability is to maintain, and update, trading spreadsheets. You will also investigate and correct any mis-postings.

This role can be remote whilst also attending team days at our head office in Chandlers Ford, Southampton.

What are we looking for?

You will come from a finance background and have a great eye for detail. You will be confident in using formulas, pivot tables and other applications within Microsoft Excel, in order to manipulate and analyse large volumes of data. You will have a curious approach always seeking opportunities to make improvements. Ideally, you will be AAT Level 4 qualified or working towards this.
