ARC Group are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join our client based in Great Yarmouth.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform preventative maintenance and servicing of production equipment in a timely manner to meet manufacturing deadlines
Conduct initial diagnostics and repair for equipment failure, liaising with engineering as needed
Provide support for current and new equipment in manufacturing facility
Maintain equipment inventory, asset list, maintenance log and calibration schedules
Ensure good housekeeping at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Develop and drive improvements to increase productivity and implement best practices

Comply with the latest EHS policies and applicable regulatory requirements
Support product and process development programmes
Support productivity, cost and quality improvement
Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required/instructed in order to maintain and/or improve the efficiency, quality and service of the Engineering Team
Liaise with part suppliers and equipment manufacturers, which may require visits to the supplier's place of businessQualification Required :

A Level, Apprenticeship or other Level 3 qualification
Proven industry experience in equipment maintenance
Practical understanding of electronics manufacturing equipment diagnostics and repair
Competency in:
Maintenance and repairs of equipment used in microelectronics manufacturing
Workshop processes and procedures
Programmable logic controllers
Technical report writing
Operator training
Familiarity with:
SMT and PCBA – solder and resin dispensing, SM pick and place, belt reflow soldering
Thick film hybrid technology – screen printing, belt firing, SM pick and place, wire bonding, packaging
Electronic package coding and ink technologies
Clean room environments
Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, Outlook)
ERP / MRP systems
SC cleared or ability to obtainDesired Competencies:
