The Recruitment Co Yorkshire are recruiting for a Hull based client who are seeking a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to help the clients employees advance their skills and knowledge.

In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow.
Excellent communication skills are essential.

If you also have experience designing e-learning courses and managing budgets, we'd like to talk to you.

We are looking for a candidate who will progress the learning culture of the business by spearheading the launch of our training academy.
Designing, developing , implementing and ultimately delivering in house training by working closely with the executive directors will be a large part of the job.

Ultimately, the main goal is play an important part in help the client company succeed by training and developing its people.
Learning and Development Manager responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing learning strategies and programs.

Designing e-learning courses, career plans, workshops and more.

Maintaining budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants.

Create and execute learning strategies and programs.

Evaluate individual and organisational development needs.

Implement various learning methods company wide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training).

Design and deliver in house training such as learning courses, workshops and other training.

Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.

Help managers develop their team members through career planning

Track budgets and negotiate contracts.
Learning and Development Requirements:

Proven experience as an L&D Manager

Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods

Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices

Experience in project management and budgeting

Experience in delivering in house training

Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors

Professional certification (e.g. CIPD, CPLP) DESIRABLE
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000.00 per year

Working Hours : 9:00am to 17:30 pm Monday to Friday – Office based , but may consider some work from home, after initial training period.
