Who are you?

You are a team player:
You are clean, tidy, on time and raring to go. As a kitchen porter you understand the kitchen only works when everyone works together. Our success depends on the very plates we put our food on, so you make sure yours are always spotless!

You are organised:
There’s a lot going on, chef wants their favourite frying pan again, front of house need more cutlery & cups. The floor needs sweeping to keep everyone safe from trips. You are the one smiling and thriving on the buzz of a busy day. You prioritise your tasks and know which high use item to wash next to ensure plentiful supply to the rest of the kitchen team.

You are Committed & Curious:
For you it’s all about getting it right for the customer and your team, you pay attention when you are learning something new and ask questions when you are not sure. You are committed to your own professional development and want to go far (we can help with that).

What’s Essential?

* You will ideally have experience as a kitchen porter or be looking for your first role in a kitchen.

* This is a physically demanding job which includes lifting & cleaning heavy equipment so you should be comfortable with completing such tasks.

* We are lucky enough to be in a beautiful area, but unfortunately that means you most likely need your own transport.

* Being a kitchen porter is hard work and we operate seven days a week from early morning until quite late at night, so flexibility is key. This will include working weekends and Christmas.

* Low-cost live-in accommodation may be available.
