We are pleased to be working alongside one of our clients to hire an IT Tech Support to support their IT Manager. This is a 1st/ 2nd line support role so will therefore need some know-how. This is a completely new job role and you would have some autonomy over what it entails. You need to be able to go and hit the ground running and be a great culture fit. Our clients are very forward thinking and are expanding rapidly. There is currently only one role for this position so please apply now to be considered.

Key role responsibilities will be:

* Develop and maintain good working relationships with end-users

* Logging, prioritization, and escalation of IT Support issues and requests

* Resolution of 1st and 2nd line support issues and collaborating with external parties when required

* Routine system and client administration tasks

* Building and configuring PCs ready for deployment

* Preventative Maintenance of Hardware and Software

* Keeping Operating systems up-to-date and patched

* Providing IT training when required

Your previous technical experience will include:

* Broad “IT know-How” of Microsoft Windows operating systems including Windows 10 and Server 12/16/19

* Administration of Active Directory and understanding of Group Policy, DHCP & DNS

* Knowledge and account administration of Microsoft 365

* Experience in building and troubleshooting PC Hardware and Software issues

The Ideal Candidate:

* At least one year of IT support and Helpdesk experience with the ability to demonstrate all-round knowledge of IT support

* Microsoft O365 support

* A demonstratable aptitude and enthusiasm for information and communication technology

* Confident and willing to learn

* Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

* Ability to organize and prioritize workloads

Salary range £23,000-£26,000 DOE
