On behalf of a global manufacturer in the tools industry we are looking to recruit a Divisional Efficiency Manager to ensure that all business entities are making optimal use of their IT technologies.

This role can be completely remote, therefore candidates from any geographical location will be considered.

Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology, this individual will have responsibilities covering Finance, Operations, Sales & Marketing and Supply Chain, enabling each business function to meet the needs of their customers efficiently, consistently and cost-effectively.

The role:

To ensure the various business entities are making optimal use of available IT technologies by undertaking the following:

Ensuring that up-to date training material is available to existing and new users
Capturing requirements for new or enhanced functions
Managing improvements and upgrades to the systems and services for their customers
Identifying and promoting new technologies and services that could benefit the business To initiate and manage the development and deployment of business solutions by undertaking the following:

Bringing new solutions to their respective groups to improve and digitalise their work as much as possible
Acting as a point of escalation for any serious issues with the systems and services used by their customers
Acting as IT representative for specific technologies used within business area
Providing documentation/training material, keeping in-line with developments/enhancements
Performing IT Program/Project Management within business function
Being responsible for interfaces between LN and peripheral systems and servicesTo maintain regular communications with other Divisional Efficiency Managers and the central IT group by undertaking the following:

Attending regular IT Steering Committee Meetings (monthly) to drive alignment of IT activities and strategies with business requirements and expectations
Holding regular "IT Prioritisation" meetings (weekly) to review requests and identify opportunities for collaboration or consolidation of requests and agree priorities for development
Creating and maintaining project documentation and ensuring such documentation is readily accessible by authorised personnel
Creating and providing a regular report (weekly) to the business VP
Contributing to the IT Strategy to ensure that it is aligned with individual business unit strategiesTo ensure personal development and growth by undertaking the following:

Agreeing development requirements with the Director, IT
Attending training courses to meet personal development plan
Keeping abreast of new and emerging technologies
Attending supplier/product seminarsSystems & Software:

XA Package:

£40,000 to £60,000 (DOE)
Remote position
