Due to consistent growth of their business, this market-leading national organisation is recruiting for several mechanics at their Glasgow workshop. The positions are to work in their fleet workshop on a range of HGVs and trailers, joining a friendly team in a well-equipped, safe workshop; with ongoing training on new vehicle products, good earning potential and fantastic benefits which are detailed below.

The role:

Service, maintain and repair customer fleets of HGVs and/or Trailers, depending on your skill set
Working with a "right first time" ethos, you will have the time and equipment you need to do your work properly
Diagnose faults using manufacturer and generic electronic diagnosis equipment
Basic salary is between £40-43.5k depending on experience and qualifications, overtime is available – most of their technicians earn £45-50k+ pa.

You should:

Be a fully qualified vehicle technician, HGV technician or trailer mechanic with NVQ level 3, IMI apprenticeship, City and Guilds level 2, or equivalent qualifications or experience
Have good experience of working as a mechanic on a range of HGVs or Trailers
Ideally have experience of working on double deck trailers although we'd love to speak to any candidate with good HGV or trailer experience as training will be provided.
