Our client specialises in providing integrated software solutions which provide a complete patient data management capability for clinicians, nurses and administrators within the UK’s leading hospitals and healthcare facilities.

To act as the key interface between the company and their existing & prospective clients, they are looking to attract an experienced sales account manager with experience of selling SaaS solutions and who has a solid understanding of clinical settings.

The successful applicant will assume responsibility for the following:

* Create a strategic account plan in cooperation with territory sales teams and develop & execute the sales strategy in selected market segments

* Grow and maintain the existing customer portfolio and prospect for new business to support a balanced sales funnel for future sales

* Maintain an understanding of clients’ business models, their overall goals and business needs

* Initiate & maintain responsive working relationships with clients through pro-active strategic account reviews

* Develop account penetration strategies for key target and competitive accounts and communicate current market intelligence back to the business

* Generate proposals and participate in bid process where applicable

* Plan customer meetings and demonstrate solutions to your assigned accounts

* Coordinate support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customer’s expectations

* Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts

Candidates will likely possess the following skills, experience, and personal attributes:

* Strategic account management experience with a track record of value-based solution sales

* Successful selling of complex technology and/or SaaS solutions into a clinical setting

* A consultative approach and ability to pinpoint improvement areas to ensure each client achieves a ‘purpose built’ and bespoke solution

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to create and effectively deliver compelling presentations to a wide range of clients and stakeholders

* Strong commercial understanding with accomplished decision-making and negotiation skills

* An understanding of bid management processes, techniques, and methodologies

* A positive, enthusiastic, and focused approach with a strong determination for success
