Health Project Director

A Leading Global consultancy are looking to appoint a Health Project Director. The Health business has doubled in size in 2020, with further year-on-year growth expected over the next 3 years.
The scale of investment and the feedback from their healthcare clients is all the work they are doing involving their built assets has a direct relationship with transformation in its broadest sense. Therefore, transformation needs to be at the 'heart' of everything therefore they have an exciting opportunity for someone to lead the transformational advisory element of the healthcare business.
The Healthcare Strategy focused on the following capabilities:
Transformation AdvisoryAs a Health Project Director, you will be part of the leadership team driving forward programme management.
This role could be based from any South East office including London as it requires travel amongst all healthcare clients within the South East.
Dimensions of the job:
Accountable for the delivery of projects typically £100m+
Responsible for setting delivery approach for multiple projects and plan in consultation with key stakeholders
Responsible for establishing project delivery plans and appropriate control mechanisms to assure delivery
Responsible for performance management of multiple projects, engaging with senior leadership team members and project and cost managers
Actively involved in project delivery (80% utilization target)
Manage client relationships at an executive level
Manage a client development team
Contribute to bid/no-bid decisions for larger pursuits by providing service knowledge
Connect the Client accounts with the wider sector community
Coach and mentor more junior team membersKnowledge & Experience:
Relevant experience including experience of managing complex projects
Proven ability to manage, motivate and lead teams
Leading project management expert within area of specialism
Experience of managing business relationships at executive level
Health Sector experience
Personal brand & potential to bring pipeline & people desirable
Expertise in Transformation (Programme) MO's desirable
Expertise in the use of digital solutions / products desirable Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
