Our client, one of the UK's leading providers of business services within the Life and Pensions sector are offering fantastic opportunities for a Financial Case Reviewer to work on a new project in Basingstoke. You will be investigating and resolving any errors or mis information given around advice and products prior to the customer raising this as a complaint.

Candidates will be required to work 9-5.30pm, Monday to Friday working from home with occasional travel to the office in Cirencester.

As a Financial Case Reviewer, your responsibilities will include:

Undertaking a thorough review of issues referred effectively and promptly – looking at all evidence available, documentation and the recollections of the Partner or other business area
Identifying what has gone wrong and establish what is required to put things right. 
Ensuring the matter is handled in line with the principle of treating all clients fairly, in a cost-effective and compliant manner.
Managing corrections and repair loss – whilst protecting the client and Partner relationship, making decisions that would be endorsed by the business and its Regulator.
Liaising with Business Assurance, external Actuaries, Accountants and Solicitors, Professional Indemnity stakeholders, Admin Centres and internal specialists to make sure all necessary expertise is used to identify and correct the mistake that has been identified.
Ensuring the case management records accurately reflect case progress and decisions made
Producing an appropriately worded letter to inform the client of the situation and provide reassurance of the steps we are taking to correct it
Discussing remedial actions and any impact on Partner gateway with Field Management Team as required
To be a successful Financial Case Reviewer you will have the following skills and experience:

A strong technical understanding of all our products, including life, pensions and investments – as well as Trusts and all types of Tax.
Experience of advising, complaint handling or working in a Quality Control/Business checking environment within the industry.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to make decisions and clearly document reasoning and action required.
CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or willingness to work towards or relevant industry experience.
Required to complete a Criminal Records Bureau check for this project.
