As part of the Technical Services team, you would be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, investigation, examination and conditioning of mechanical equipment and associated sub-assemblies held at KN Donnington using approved data to maintain the stock. Additionally you will be responsible for ascertaining the condition of the equipment in accordance with approved data this also includes any the repair and maintenance of the mechanical equipment.


In accordance with relevant approved data, Tech Services Procedures and Work Based Instructions, carry out examination, minor repair, and adjustments to a range of mechanical components, associated sub-assemblies and component parts.
Carry out line examination on returned stores in support of storehouse activities.
Ensure individual production targets are met, ensuring all job related paperwork is completed in line Key performance indicators
Make sure quality Standards are maintained and applied throughout the organisation.
Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are applied at all times. Agree and complete all necessary training requirements with the Line Manager.
Carry out workplace audits in line with business requirements
Utilise knowledge of workshop practices, being able to work on your own and as part of a team.
Use trade skills and qualifications in conjunction with current approved data to be able to complete jobs effectively.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

Recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3.
Would be expected to attend training courses that fit to this roll. (This maybe off site and require stopover)
Computer literate in Excel, Word, Outlook.
Good Communication skills – written and verbal.
