Full Job Description
SSP Education are working on behalf of our client, a College in the North East, to recruit an experienced and brilliant English Lecturer.
Contract: Temporary
Salary: TBC
Shift Pattern: Full-time
DUTIES
* Confidently carrying out professional duties as a English Lecturer in accordance to the school policy under the direction of senior members of staff.
* Contributing and inspiring a wide range of students including leading and overseeing subjects within the school.
* Preparing and adapting to teaching materials including handouts, assignments, booklists and assessment papers.
* Providing Teaching and assessment opportunities in line with the relevant awarding body requirements to promote access to achievement.
* Contributing to the growth of the college.
REQUIREMENTS
* To adhere to the high professional standards at all times.
* Diligently monitor and review students to make sure they are hitting academic goals.
* Taking initiatives in the area of curriculum development.
* Undertaking leadership responsibilities and duties as allocated.
* Familiarise yourself and adhere to college procedures
