Electrician – Cardiff

Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00 – £32,000.00 p/a

Working hours: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday

Overtime: We provide 24-hour emergency callout

The ideal candidate must be fully qualified, enthusiastic, and experienced Electrician who can carry out: –

· Design to completion electrical installations

· PV Solar Panel and EV installations

Installations will be completed on domestic, commercial, and industrial properties. You should have the experience to work independently, without prompting or assistance. The role will suit a self-motivated, ambitious individual who thrives on a challenge. Our client customer service is absolutely key, and we are looking for a person who can provide excellent customer service and deliver high quality electrical work.

Key Responsibilities –

Surveying sites where electrical systems are installed

Drafting electrical installation plans and technical diagrams

Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings

Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations

Managing ongoing electrical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed

Using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete projects

Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job

Identifying electrical problems and repairing them

Advising the company’s management when to replace aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards

Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment
