This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, international company as an Electrical Engineer joining a fantastic engineering team. The position is key within the company to ensure all preventative maintenance is carried out on plan and that reactive situations are dealt with effectively and as quickly as they can be. The equipment here is of all ages, some brand new, some a little long in the tooth and of varying complexities but there is a knowledgeable and experienced team to help keep everything running smoothly and to offer advice and guidance at all times.

Day to day your role will be: –

Reactive and preventative maintenance of all plant equipment

Ensuring all calibration needs are met

Communicating with your team on the condition of equipment in general

General fault finding

Working safely and logically and flagging any potential issues

what were looking for.

As this is such an important role, we really need someone with a good amount of experience in a similar role. You will have good practical knowledge and experience of calibrating various instrumentation (flow, level and pressure) be used to working with electrical systems at least to 3ph 415v with good general all round mechanical and electrical experience. You will need the relevant qualifications (Instrument Technician NVQ3 or above/equivalent). You will need to be careful and thorough in your work, pay attention to detail and carry out that extra check, you will be part of a team with lots of knowledge and experience, so there is always someone to confer with. You will be on call out of hours for 1 out of 4 weeks, this is evenly spread within the team, there are generous payments to compensate and a flexible view on cover for holidays etc.
