Data Quality Manager / SQL / ADF / Azure / Data Governance / Data Management

My client, a heavy hitter within the healthcare and insuratech space are setting up a new data governance department within the organisation. As it stands they currently have an immature system which needs consolidating and each department connecting.

Salary for this role is up to 75k, in terms of office working, 3 days a month will be fine.

As the Data Quality Manager you will be working closely and collaboratively with the Analytics department to create that and look at pulling different systems and overall data usage strategy as well as establishing reporting ownership and creating useful reports.

You will have resources internally and a team to assist so management and overall understanding is required.

Tech which you will find helpful when first in the role (things can be picked up):

-Experience of Azure Data factory (ADF) and the DQ data components

-Experience with Data Glossary and dictionary tools such as AZURE Purview or Alation

-Experience in a previous Data Quality role and implemented standards with measurable


-SQL coding experience with a data quality profiling task in mind

-Experience of Data Governance programmes where cultural change is required

-Preferable Insurance industry experience but not essential

-Good understanding of Regulatory data rules e.g., GDPR, PII or FCA

-Good knowledge of data management practices and how to apply them

-Good understanding of relational and Data warehouse schemas and ability to query

-Solid understanding and use of a Business Entity Model
