Skills People Group are a national provider of NVQ, Apprenticeships, Programmes for the unemployed and Compliance training. We specialise in both commercial and funded training and are proud to be nationally recognised as one of the UK’s largest private training providers. We are currently recruiting for a highly organised, qualified Commercial Administrator to join our existing team.

The Commercial Administrator is responsible for all administration functions connected to Training programmes. The Administrator is responsible for the completion and submission of all Commercial paperwork.

The successful candidate will undertake the following main Duties and Responsibilities:

Processing Bookings

Sending out joining instructions to learners and prime contractors

Processing of completed Course Paperwork and submitting this to the awarding body

Quality and Compliance checks of completion paperwork

Archiving the original paperwork using internal processes

Processing and Issuing Certificates and Cards

Sending certificates out to learners and prime contractors

Call Handling

Point of contact for prime providers for any data queries

Supporting sales staff with any admin requirements they have.

Running reports from Management Information system.

Data cleansing of Management Information system to ensure 100% accuracy.

Taking inbound calls from learners, employers, and providers.

Issue course publications

The ideal candidate must possess the following Skills, Experience and Qualities:

Strong attention to detail

Excellent ICT skills, particularly with Microsoft packages

Enthusiasm in the work place

Work well under pressure

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent teamwork skills

The ideal candidate may possess the following desirable Skills, Experience and Qualities:

Experience within the further education sector

Knowledge of ESFA rules and guidance

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

Educated to a minimum of GCSE grade C in English and Maths or equivalent.

You will report to the Commercial Admin Team Leader and will be based at Chesterfield, S41 9FG.

This position is subject to an enhanced criminal records check from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) and will be subject to satisfactory clearance of this check
