We are currently looking for a Clinical Science Dietitian – R&D technical expertise to work at our head office just outside of Liverpool City Centre on a full time, permanent basis. In return you will receive a highly competitive salary.

In your position as Clinical Science Dietitian, you will apply both practical experience and theoretical knowledge of clinical nutrition and dietetics to agreed projects, research programs and resources.

The Clinical Science Dietitian core responsibilities will consist of the following:

Utilising your nutritional and clinical knowledge, scientific research, and published data to develop new research, new product propositions, resources, or educational programmes

Being accountable for planning, constructing, and delivering global communication, educational resources, and training

Being responsible for the application of existing and evolving dietetic and nutritional expertise and knowledge to the global business

Establishing and building relationships with key opinion leaders, relevant healthcare professionals and lay organisations

Representing the clinical team on designated R&D innovation and renovation projects to ensure all specific tasks are carried out

Being responsible for designing clinical studies and acceptability trials to support international regulatory submissions and the product portfolio

Working cross-functionally across the global business with colleagues in other teams within both Vitaflo and with relevant Nestle Health Science teams

Keeping up to date with current clinical practice, maintaining a knowledge base within an agreed disease area

Engaging in effective decision making, project and strategic planning and their implementation

Providing input to the development of specific tools to aid new ways of working and standard operating procedures

Who are we looking for?

To succeed as a Clinical Science Dietitian, it is essential that you possess the following qualities:

Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Nutrition and Dietetics is essential, ideally to a higher-level degree in clinical nutrition or research

Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) registered or equivalent international registration is essential

Extensive industry experience within a global R&D team at a senior level

A high level of understanding and experience of R&D innovation with specialised FSMP products for inborn errors of metabolism and the ketogenic diet

Experienced in international clinical trial set up and execution

Proficient in designing clinical studies, writing protocols, product information brochures and case report form design

Skilled in scientific and medical writing proficient for a wide range of core documentation

A proven track record in effective relationship management with internal and external business partners.

The ability to use initiative, be creative and innovative

To be able to support others to manage situations or issues with cross-functional teams
