Are you sales driven professional with strong commercial acumen? Are you looking to make that next step up and join one of the UK's largest organisations?

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with proven customer-facing sales experience to join Travis Perkins Managed Services team as a Business Development Executive. Our Managed Services team provides contract solutions for local authorities and the housing community, offering a bespoke service to suit the needs of two of our largest customers.

This is a home based/regional role but you'll be responsible for driving new business and scoping propositions in the North of England and Scotland.

Managed Services are continuing to grow year on year, and we're looking for a dynamic person to join us and help to drive this exciting journey forward!

What you'll do

– Identify appropriate outsourcing opportunities from the affordable housing market place and other sectors
– Act as the key contact with clients before and during the tender process
– Review TP Group resources and from this lead a Group strategy to ensure clients outsource their stores in TP's favour
– Lead the facilitation and completion of all proposals, tenders, presentations through OJEU if appropriate
– Work closely with TP Group Regional Director's to ensure equal impact of stores project successes across their territories
– Work as needed with TPMS staff to ensure a smooth project start
– Promote TPMS role in outsourcing into the marketplace and secure 'linked' opportunities with existing and new clients e.g. capital works

Is this you?

– Experience operating successfully in a customer facing role
– Ability to identify 'outsourcing' opportunities
– Excellent customer sales skills
– Good presentation skills
– Strong negotiator
