Pertemps Education are looking to appoint a brand-new Behavior Specialist / Pastoral Mentor (Behaviour TA or HLTA) at one of our Independent SEN Schools based near Banham & Thetford in Norfolk. 

This is a unique position for a candidate who excels in Behavior Strategy & Management, in addition to being a hands on practical role – so confidence amongst physicality & verbal & sensory expressiveness is essential. If you are considered someone with 'thick skin' within these types of learning environment, that is great.

We are offering:

Temp to Permanent Contract (16 weeks competitive agency rate, followed by school salary)
£80 – £105 + daily agency rate (via Pertemps Education)
£17.5 to 22k school salary (including paid over all holiday periods)

Large 35 + acre campusOur ideal candidate would:

Already be a SEN member of Support looking to move onto a new challenge with greater responsibility 
Show proven confidence amongst a range of Complex Needs including SEMH, ASC, ADD, Speech Language Difficulties, Residential experience. A unaminous focus of the school is Autism Spectrumn Condition.
Access to personal vehicle & full driving license
Available from January
Be looking for a full time position 37.5 hours per week (8:15am to 4:15pm on most days)
Own a DBS Advanced, and have references ready for contact. We can process the DBS if needed. 
If you would like to start working 1:1 within a Early years, Primary, or Secondary Age group of SEN learners, whilst managing a greater influence on how a school tackles its pastoral & behavioral difficulties, then this could be the ideal role for you.
