Norse South East is a highly successful contract services and frontline public service provider. The company supplies operations of grounds maintenance, trade waste and street cleansing services to the public and private sectors across the South East of England.
We are looking to strengthen our services within the partnership, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Operations Manager to join our team in Petersfield.
As Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the Norse South East Streetscene collection service. You will need to manage resource, health and safety, and take responsibility of the development and delivery of the business plans.
This role commands strong knowledge within the streetscene sector, you must have the ability to formulate and develop a strong team environment. You will ensure personnel remain motivated, trained and capable of delivering requirements with a flexible approach.
You will be required to meet the overall operational requirements along with meeting business targets and client service level agreements, Quality and Performance targets and Performance Review Reports. You will need to ensure our 99% service success rate is maintained whilst delivering our services that create sustainable value for our customers, employees and stakeholders.
Our successful Candidate:
We are looking for you to demonstrate a combination of industry knowledge, training and commercial experience for the role, including;
* Previous management experience in a similar role.
* A related management or training qualification – CMI or ILM.
* Excellent communications skills, both written and verbally.
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Ability to recognise, raise and provide solutions to issues and risks across all levels.
