Office Accounts & Service Administrator

£20,000 – £26,000 pa based on experience – 40 hour a week – Office Based – Monday to Friday

We are recruiting for an experienced account assistant / service administrator to join our office team. We are a family run business who have been established for more than 20 years and specialise in the commercial catering and refrigeration industry, providing repairs and maintenance across the South East.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring information/data is entered in a timely manner
Sales and purchase ledger including entering invoices and reconciling customer and supplier payments and checking supplier statements.
Helping with Payroll
VAT returns
Chasing information from engineers and suppliers
Filling paperwork / invoices in a timely way
Answering and acting on phone calls from customers, suppliers, and engineers
Ordering and logging parts costs, onto the system
Quoting for work and sending them out
Qualifications / Experience:

Confident in MS Word, Excel & Outlook
Accounts assistance experience
Good numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills
Experience of Sage an advantage
Accurate data entry skills
Knowledge of a variety of daily administrative tasks
A good work ethic with a positive, proactive, and flexible approach
This is an office based role with good links to public transport.
