Located in Hillingdon, this one and a half form entry primary school now requires two Learning Support Assistants who can join the school immediately. This lovely little school which has recently been graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED.

Over the past five years the Leadership team have really turned this school around, and it now sits above most other schools in the LEA for SAT results, thanks to its many outstanding teachers, and the care provided to their students.

The Headteacher has informed me they have 2 Learning Support Assistant vacancies. Both roles are to start immediately and long term full time until July 2023. One role is to work with a Year 4 girl who has Autism, and the other student is in Year 6, and again has Autism. Neither student is physically aggressive, and don’t possess any behavioural issues. However both students can become easily distracted in class, hence the need for individual support throughout the day. As a Learning Support Assistant at this school you will be fully inducted and gain constant support from the SENCO. Ideally the school are looking for a graduate with a good academic record, the ability to set firm boundaries and can put into place and maintain structure throughout the day. Previous experience of working with Autism would be an advantage but is not essential. This school has the experience of working with graduates and making sure they are supported well throughout their journey at the school.

So, if you’re a graduate and keen on one of these Learning Support Assistant opportunities this school would love to hear from you.
